Federal Skilled Worker Application Processing Time:

Federal Skilled Worker Class (FSWC) applications are assessed based on applicant’s ability and skill of an applicant in being more economically prosperous in Canada. Mostly, the critical factors of evaluation of an applicant is age, level of education, language ability, work experience, whether or not they have a job offer, and personal ability factors.

As per Canadian immigration website, the express entry system’s application processing time for immigration is around 6 months. So, the processing time of a Federal Skilled Worker application depends on the time the application was submitted. All applications submitted before January 1, 2015 are processed in about 6 months time.

While if you have submitted an application during the period of 26 June 2010 and 31 December 2014, your application’s processing time would be around 18 months. In case you have submitted an application during the period of 27 February 2008 and 25 June 2010, the application processing time would be around 76 months. If you have submitted application before February 2008, the processing time would be 135 months.
